Sony launches 'made-to-resist' Water resistant phones.

Sony expanded its Xperia range of smartphones with two new additions, Xperia go and Xperia acro S. The unique feature of the phones is that they are water resistant ( watch the video below and comeback.) Not just that, it is also dust proof and something of shock proof. The phone is made to withstand daily life hurdles. The phone is slated to go on sale in the third quarter of 2012. Sony hasn't yet disclosed the price range for the phones.

Xperia go will have a 3.5" Reality display with Sony's Mobile Bravia engine. Xperia go will have a 1GHz dual core processor which will make it fast enough for the android operating system. On the other hand Xperia acro S will have 4.3" Reality Display with the Mobile Bravia engine. Acro S will have a faster 1.5GHz Dual core processor. Both the
phones will be upgradeable to Android 4 IceCream Sandwich.

Xperia acro S has a 12.1 Mega Pixel rear camera. It will record HD videos in 1080p. It also has a front facing camera that will allow HD video calling. Xperia go on the other hand will have a 5MP rear camera. Xperia go will be able to record 720p HD videos. Both the phones will have external display functionality with HDMI output. Xperia go will come in Black, White and Yellow colors. While Xperia acro S will come in Black, White and Pink.
