Microsoft has announced that it will release a new preview version of Windows 8 (the Computer OS) on 29th Feb in Barcelona where the Mobile World Congress trade show will be held.
The new windows OS will have a new UI called 'Metro'. It will replace the start button with a new Start screen which will comprise of tiles of your favourite apps. It will look similar to the current windows Phone OS.
One new feature of the OS will be that it will support ARM microsprocessor along with the current x86(Intel and AMD).
It is also possible that Microsoft will open the Windows App Store. This store will consist of mini-apps tailored specifically for Windows 8.
