Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Beta available for download.

Microsoft's coding solution Visual Studio 11 is now available for download as beta. Successor to Visual Studio 10 it will have new features to make coding easier for Azure, Metro apps and HTML5/CSS3.



Visual Studio will be available in 4 different variants, namely Ultimate, Professional,Premium and Test Professional. In addition to this there will be a Team Foundation Server that will help centralize Source code in one place.

Visual Studio 11 Ultimate will have the most number of tools available followed by premium and then professional version. The Test professional version will mainly be used for software testing and will not have debugging tools, IDE, etc.

The beta download is also available for the express (free) version of Visual Studio 11. Visual Studio express is available in two variants. Visual Studio Express for Windows 8, helping mainly with Metro Application programming and Visual Studio Express for Web, helping web development.

Visual studio 10 professional prices have been dropped to $499 from the earlier $799. Also Team exxplorer Everywhere 2010 is now available for free. It helps  developers with tools and plug-ins to access Team Foundation Server from within Eclipse, the IDE for Java.
