The immensely popular photo editing-cum-sharing app Instagram is now available for Android users. The app originally available to only iOS users has now been released for phones and tablets running Android 2.2 and above.
Instagram became immensely popular when Apple named it the App of the Year 2011. Instagram is a simple app that lets you edit your pictures and then share them. Instagram lets you add various fileters, 18 filters for android users, to your photos to make them look beautiful.
You have to signup for instagram account with your email-id. Once signed up you can take picctures from within instagram app and polish them with effects. You can then share them on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and FourSquare. Instagram in itself also has a social network. It allows you to publish pictures to your profile feed and like twitter allows you to follow other people. The community is now 30 million users strong.
