With the tag line of "Power without the Tower" HP has launched worlds first all-in-one workstation Z1. The market leader in workstations Hawlett Packard launched the Z1 along with Z820, Z620 and Z420 range of Z series workstations.
HP Z1 will have quad core Intel Xeon processor with nVidia Quadro graphics. A feature to notice about the Z1 is that it will 'snap to open' which means users can upgrade various components to increase performance. Z1 will have a Blu-ray writer and memory card support for various formats.
The price tag of Z1 is Rs. 99,990 plus taxes. HP Z1 is basically targeted at 3D graphics and multimedia artists, professional CAD designers and the entertainment industry.
The other Z series workstations are Z820, Z620 and Z420 are priced from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 90,000.
