Filesonic.com has now shutdown the file sharing feature of the site. Users will however be able to upload and download their private content. The move must come as no surprise as recently the world’s biggest file sharing site Mega Upload was shut down by US Justice dept (with help from FBI).
Stricter copy rights law may be passed in the future which will make any one even linking to copyrighted material a criminal. This will mainly affect all the file sharing websites as they can’t practically control what their users upload on the site .
Rumors are up that File Serve will follow and will shut down its operations. Upload.to another website has stopped services to US users.
